Our story

Katie is the face behind In The Spirit Paper Co. She grew up loving all things creative. Mixing colors, making potions, cutting shapes and gluing cards together. She also found much satisfaction in a blank sheet of paper; whether it be for writing or creating.

Katie pursued a career in healthcare and is passionate about helping others. 2020 arrived and changed everything. While it provided immense joy to be home with her children, Katie began searching for a creative outlet. Her lifelong friend planted the seed of designing stationery and…the rest is history.

Our name

Katie’s nickname is “Katie Spirit”, lovingly bestowed by her late nephew, Dobbs. Her desire is to help people “get in the spirit” of celebrating, whether it be a birthday, wedding, baptism, or other special event.
